Former FSU commit flips to Michigan

It was a good weekend for the Wolverines on the football field, claiming a 49-3 victory over Western Michigan, and positive news extended to the recruiting front as well. Delray Beach (Fla.) American Heritage defensive end Mike Morris ended an over two year-long engagement to Florida State, announcing on Sunday that he was switching his pledge to Michigan.

The 6-5, 255 pounder originally pledged to the Seminoles in February of 2016, but continued to take visits to other schools, including a trip to Michigan in March, as well as trips to Oklahoma, Tennessee and Miami.

Rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN, he announced his decision on Twitter.

With Morris jumping into the fold, the Wolverines are up to 21 commitments for the 2019 recruiting class.
